Je ne sais pas! I caught it from this documentary: Mémoires d'exil by Frédéric Mitterrand.

y'know, i'm not completely sure but i think there's something significantly wrong with that illustration.....

the woman holding the infant Tatiana, is shown wearing the gold velvet mantle (w/ Romanov double-headed eagle, in black) worn, i believe, during the coronation ceremony....but thereby implying it's the empress Aleksandra, the infants mother.

my main question:  i seem to remember something about the fact that an infant's parents are never present at, or any time during, a Russian Orthadox Christening.

or am i mistaken?    (perhaps, it was just a tradition within the imperial family?)

peacefully in my sleep; not screaming & in terror,
like the passengers in his car."
