Wasn't King Michael (1860-1868) assassinated with his cousin Anastasia while riding in a park or something similar? I've looked for info but the only fact I cna find is that they both died the same day.....

It was Prince Michael(1860-1868) who was assasinated with his cousin Katharina whom he wanted to marry after he would get devorce from his wife Princess Julia(you have their pictures on the previous page)!

I'm sorry Marc but I've seen in several sources his cousin's name, who died with him, was Anastasia, but they called her Anka I believe, not Katharina... any details of their death, maybe photos...?

Anastasia Obrenovich is Prince's cousin and a mother of also his cousin Katharina whom Prince wanted to marry secondly after his divorce from Julia!This was the greatest wish of Anastasia who hated Julia and made her life miserable at Court!

Although Michail's marriage did not finish he was even engaged to his cousin Katharina 3 days before the tragedy!They were assasinated in Topcider-residence of his father Prince Milosh(escept Katharina who was just wounded)!Prince Michail and his couisin Anastasia were killed!Anastasia Obrenovich showed a great courage before her death wrestling with the murderers before they shot her!She was also a grandmother of Princess Nathalia of Montenegro,whose picture I posted in the previous page!

Actually, my last name is Obrenovich and i'm trying to find out someting about my family. My grand father was Bosnian, his name was Drago Obrenovich and we know he belongs to this dinasty.

I've read on Online Gotha that King Milos, Natalie's husband, had a sister, who was injured while they were young. But this sister is not recorded anywhere. Do some of you perhaps know something about this girl?
