Yes. So with that example, it is strange that the boys do not want to get married. It also happened to Max Emmanuel's boys too...

Christoph was married to Anna Sibig, but they didn't have children. By the way: Has anybody ever seen a pic of Anna?

Siegfried was engaged to Archduchess Miana. I guess they would have married if Siegfried hadn't had this terrible riding accident.
Ich aber breite trauernd aus
die weiten weissen Schwingen,
Und kehr' ins Feenreich nach Haus -
Nichts soll mich wieder bringen.

Ohhh yes!!! Is a pity that I only have seen three portraits of her, one a pair of years ago.
I can understand why Ludwig fall in love with her

Is good that it happened, in other families the persons are cruel with the mates of persons
that married with ones of lower rank, even her daughter was accepted (till Mayerling!!)

Countess Larisch went to her head and believe she was as royal as her cousins. She fell back to earth after her marriage. There after held a grudge against her Aunt. Henriette however never put herself forward and her tact was rewarded.

That is when tact came into play. Baroness Wallsee never overplay her hand and happy to be accepted as part of her family. Her daughter did not.

She should acted like her mother, is funny, the one who wasn't looking for being accepted was and the
one who was looking for it didn't have it.
Why was Henriette a Baroness and her daughter Countess?

No. Please read the books. You risk sounding silly here.

... and you risk to sound impolite, Eric. There are members who don't have the (financial) possibilities you have to travel around and to buy all these books. No one sounds silly just because he or she has a question. This is a discussion board and everyone is free to ask whatever he or she wants. - And please don't forget that you also wrote very strange and confusing things in the past.
Thanks. Marie Charlotte.
