Yes in the photograph Anstasia and Maria are in a play look at the impression on Anastasia's face and Maria is dressed up as hero !!! It looks like someone is watching them in the background it look like Alix by the door. There is also a piano in the background !!! I love this picture it is so nice.

It's called, "Le Bourgeois Gentilhomme ", a French play.
"Господь им дал дар по молитвам их размягчать окаменелые наши сердца за их страдания..Мне думается, что если люди будут молиться Царской Cемье, оттают сердца с Божией помощью."

Le bourgeois gentilhomme is a “funny”  play. It was written by Molière during Louis XIV reign. It is  about  Monsieur Jourdain, whose the father  became rich and then,  because of that new condition, tries to get the Court manners, the right way of speaking, dancing and so on. However, people around him makes fun of him and had scorn ; Monsieur Jourdain finds himself the victim of his own desires , but also the victim of the behaviour of the people around him. There are a lot of misunderstandings, comic misunderstanding

I’m not very fond of books but my dad told me to read it because he said that even if it is classical French I would find it funny.  From the picture above, it seems that Maria was the main character Monsieur Jourdain (not sure). I read it when I was 11 so I can’t remember the whole  story.   :)
