did anyone see the first episode of this programme, it was broadcast on channel five a couple of weeks ago, i suppose this post only goes out to British viewers, but did anyone the little extracts from some home movies of the romanovs?? There was one from October 1916 and i think one from Mogilev were they are sailing along a river in a boat, and as it says in the title they were in colour, my jaw was hanging open when i saw this. I was just curious if anyone saw it??

I saw the series on Australian TV,12 months ago.  It is a documentary series on  World War I.

All the footage has been colourised and brings to life all the old black and white film I have seen over the years of the Romanovs.

I think it is a British series 6 or 8 episodes, with a accompanying book.

Regards,Steve.
