Yes it is. I've seen some amazing things on eBay over the years, and I've seen that other image of N crowning A in postcard form come up a few times.

I have one from the same postcard sequence of a fan presentation during the coronation. I managed to do some research on it, and it turns out to be the French Ambasadors ball that was held on the night of the Kokodha field disaster that N&A were so criticized for attending.

The background to some of these images can turn out to be interesting if you can manage to dig up the details (not easy - I was very surprised at how hard it was to get specific details of the the French ball.)

There you go again Liljones, being fantastic. I would like to bump this thread because it's underappreciated

If "bumping a thread" means adding something new so it goes back to the top and more people read/see it, I'm glad you did.  I hadn't had a chance to look at this one, and it is quite wonderful.

Thanks for bringing more attention to it.

I thought I'd mention that the second picture, of the fan presentation is also of a scene at the French Embassy ball on the night of the Kokohda field disaster.

N & A came to the ball at around 10pm and entered to the strains of "a life for for the tsar" (you can see the singers in the background) and was presented with this fan by the Ambassador and his wife.

It was a miserable "state" night for N & A and turned out to be the low point of the coronation ceremonies with everyone at the ball giving them funny looks and the only thing people could talk about was the disaster earlier in the night, though you wouldn't guess from the pictures.

These postcards make a very interesting souvineer of the coronation, and you can still sometimes pick them up on eBay, though I've never seen the Nicholas (?) Hall entry picture anywhere except in a book published by the Orthodox church as a memorial to the coronation years ago.
