I am trying to find any snippets of information about Alexandra's sister Irene, particularly before her marriage, and regarding her personality. Anecdotes, letters, any small thing to give a hint as to her character would be much apreciated! Thanks in advance.

I also have some information about Irene in my book THE FOUR GRACES. She is, however, the most elusive of the sisters. It doesn't help that she burned her letters in 1918.

I really want to buy your book sometime soon, Ilana, it sounds just wonderful, especially with my recent intrest in the four Hesse girls, but presently I don't have the funds!

It is kind of odd how so many royals burned their letters and diaries at different points in their lives.
