I like too very much this funny picture ! Ernie was a rare prince with a big sens of humour and Tatiana wasn't so easily shocked than the others princesses of her time.

Yeah, especially since Olga and Tatiana were close to Elisabeth in age and they remembered her.

Yes...they were around the same age and with her when Elisabeth died (in Russia).

Thanks for all these great photos of Ernie with Olga and Tatiana! I think he was closest to them because of the reasons stated already, that they remembered Elizabeth, and were about her age, she and Olga had been born in the same year.
