I agree, James. :) I think she will be, too. I've only seen her at a few events (on tv programs of course). there was this special on the E! Channel about the next generation of royalty from Sweden, Britain and Monaco and they showed footage of Victoria from just last year. She definately looks alot younger than her age! So does Maddie.

Is the rumor that CP Victoria wants to mary her personal trainer and gym owner true?

Is that Daniel Westling? The guy she's been with for several years?

Yes, its him...

There is a rumor saying that he is being trained to become a consort now (learn English, court protocol etc...)

I honestly think they should get married..I mean Victoria is 28 now? Daniel is one or two years older than her. Sweden is such a liberal country, I don't think the royal family would make such a big deal out of the future queen marrying a commoner, do you? They've been together for about 4 years or more, so why not? I think they make a cute couple. :)

I think the problem with him is not b/c he is a commoner but b/c of his occupation and background.

I agree.  If CP Victoria wanted to marry Donald Trump Jr. there would be no discussion or speculation.

Too bad for her... Donald Trump, Jr. is taken. ;) He proposed to his girlfriend a few days before his dad married Melania Knauss in January.

Oh well!  I am sure we can finn another rich American for her! ;D

Realisticly, let her marry whoever she wants as long as her parents approve.

Her mother is a commoner and excellent Queen.  Her father is an excellent King and smart too. If her parents approve Sweeden will be happy.

I think the objection is not that he's a commoner, but that he's not a WORLDLY person with a great education.  Sylvia, the Queen, was a commoner, but spoke/speaks about 6 languages, has amazing social skills, and adapted immediately to her duties.  She comes from a wealthy family and was used to a more aristocratic lifestyle.
My guess is that if Victoria wants to marry Daniel, they'll let her, provided he undergoes the requisite "training".  The King kinda likes him....

I don't know anything about it but won't let that stop me from commenting.  :)  I hope she's allowed to marry the man she loves provided he's able to take on consort duties. Mette-Marit of Norway seems to be doing well and her ex-boyfriend (father of her son) was convicted of drug dealing. I don't think she moved in rarefied circles but she seems a very capable Crown Princess. I was sad to read when she had anorexia and was so thin. She seems really healthy and happy now and if her beau has anything to do with that I hope it works out for them.

I read that she was in the United States working at some point  in D.C, where I live! What year was she here was it recently?

It was May 1999, when Victoria completed trainee period at the Swedish Embassy in Washington D.C.

At June and September 2000 Victoria has also completed trainee perionds at the United Nations in New York. And in the spring of 1998 until the summer 2000 she took several classes within  the subjects of political science and history at Yale University.

Victoria have been told that if she had to choose Daniel or crown, she will take the crown. There is also one big problem between Vickan&Daniel, Daniel hates apper in public...
So it will be nice to see that can D finally take part in the CP:s birthday parties at July  ;)

Mariah,

Your Crown Princess is a lovely person and very smart woman.  She will be a wonderful Queen.

Your country is vey lucky and I am sure very proud of their Royal Family-as they have every right to be.

No, no, no.. I´m from Finland  ;D But we really love Victoria too. She is so smart and enchanting. When she made her first offical visit in here, many people asked her "would she be our princess too"  :)
Also finnish media are following her steps closely, so we know quite mutch about she and her siblings too.

I think Victoria is a real credit to her mother.
