Prince Daniel's speech was incredibly beautiful and moving! Couldn't keep my eyes dry.
And I loved the humor in Olle Westling's speech: "...so you didn't become a professional ice hockey player, but we are very proud of you anyway" :)

I just know I'm going to blubber and crywhen I watch it on youtube.
Anyone got a tissue please? :'(

from the pics I have seen and guest names, it seems no German royals (former that is) were included, in spite of the bride's grandmother being a German. Were the German families snubbed?

One of her aunts married a Hohenzollern, they were there.
Life may not be the party we expected, but while we are here, might as well dance..

They were invited and they were/are on the list a few pages down, and they were there.

The Manuel's of Bavaria and the Heriditary Princely couple of Sachsen,Prince Hubertus and Princess Kelly,
from the house the brides grandmother Princess Sybilla came from.No-one was snubbed really.
But guests can always choose to decline.....or see it fit to sent the 7th in line to a Throne... ::)

HRH Prince Daniel's speech is in all headlines in Swedish media!

In english! :)

http://sverigesradio.se/cgi-bin/International/nyhetssidor/artikel.asp?ProgramID=2054&format=1&artikel=3796749

Moving, and brave by this man,his first speech as Prince in the "Lions den" and tout Royalty as a witness, daunting,
but he was fantastic speaking from the heart, not a note in sight,he mastered to get a ovational applaus.
Admirable! This man will prove to be a steady and thrustworthy supporter of his wife in her future role as Monarch,I am sure.

Those who like to enjoy it all over again:

In love with her Prince... which title did he get?
So strange to see how all the former Royal houses become more or less ordinary.... Olimpic Games Hostess as Queen and Fitness Trainer as Prince consort.......

yes,Thomas, it`s weird for me that a personal fitness trainer suddely becomes prince consort. i think that the whole idea of royalty is about being different from ordinary citizens of a given country. they are royal because of their birth and ubringing. a former fitness instructor is like me or any other ordinary citizen. when an olimpic games hostess (silvia sommerlath ,the future queen of sweden) or the owner of fitness clubs suddenly become royal i feel confused. i feel that  genuine royal blood is somehow dissolved by the new blood. if we follow this assumption we can say that crown princess victoria is only 1/2 royal, while her prospective children will be only 1/8 royal. so what is the sense of having a royal house whose blood is not royal at all? being royal is being somehow superior, superior i a sense of birth and upbringig.and all of sudden taxpayers have to finance lavish lifestyle of commoners or halfcommoners. mette marit of norway is a plain girl, former single mother whose exboyfried was implicated in a crime. if she was an ordinary citizen i wouldn`t even pay attention to these details but bearing in mind WHAT ROLE she plays as well as her future as queen consort i am somewhat shocked.i know that modern royal houses REIGN but DON`T RULE but still i can`t accept these rapidly changing standars
Violetta dear....half of half is a QUARTER!.....AND what does it matter as long as she has a good man  by her side to help her with the path ahead!!

And of course many of her non-royal German relations (the Sommerlaths, her mother's family) were there--including in the wedding party.

As noted before, German royals included:

Prince Manuel and Princess Anna of Bavaria
 Princess and Prince of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg
The Hereditary Prince of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg
Princess Alexandra of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg and Count Jefferson von Pfeil und Klein-Ellguth
Princess Nathalie of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg
H.R.H. Princess Birgitta and H.S.H. Dr Johann Georg, Prince von Hohenzollern
H.S.H. Prince Carl Christian von Hohenzollern and H.S.H. Princess Nicole von Hohenzollern
Mrs Désirée von Bohlen und Halbach and Mr Eckbert von Bohlen und Halbach
H.S.H. Prince Hubertus von Hohenzollern and H.S.H. Princess Ute Maria von Hohenzollern
Princess Désirée, Baroness Silfverschiöld and Baron Niclas Silfverschiöld
S.H. Erbprinz Hubertus von Sachsen- Coburgund Goth and I.H. Prinzessin Kelly von Sachsen- Coburgund Gotha

Oh but Ingrid, that question is already answered a zillion times in this very thread, nice of you to help out,but some might just
as well look things up themselves,Like here:

http://www.royalcourt.se/

And "former" Royal Houses  becoming more and more ordinary?Hostesses becoming Queen.Right 34 years ago
Silvia became Queen and what an asset to Sweden she is..."former"(?)...Reigning is Reigning as in Sweden, former are the Royal Houses
within germany, they ceased to function as such.I find the comment by Thomas far far more common as it shows he lacks lnowledge on the subject of Royalty

And the Hereditary Princess of Liechtenstein, born Princess of Bavaria, was also present.

As for Hubertus's relation to the bride (for the curious)

Charles Edward, Duke of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha--Sybilla--Carl Gustav--Victoria
Charles Edward, Duke of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha--Friedrich Josias--Andreas--Hubertus

Links to a HQ group photo--though I didn't see the Wessexes which was odd (unless I"m just blind)

http://img824.imageshack.us/i/groupphoto.jpg/

There will be an official wedding book published--apparently with some minor errors according to the other forums but with enough great photos to make it worth the while.

http://www.kungahuset.se/brollopet/bokomkronprinsessparetsbrollop.4.130af452128eff9afdd80001475.html

And a tidbit:
The Crown Princess is wearing Queen Sofia's lace veil. It is the same veil that was worn by Crown Princess Victoria's mother, Queen Silvia, at her marriage to King Carl Gustaf in 1976. This veil was given by Queen Sofia to her youngest son, Prince Eugen. Prince Eugen then passed the veil on to Princess Sibylla, who wore it under a garland of myrtle at her marriage to Prince Gustaf Adolf in Koburg in 1932. Queen Sofia's veil was also worn by the Princesses Désirée in 1964, Margaretha in 1964 and Christina in 1974.

And a last to link--to a site with a ton of good photos:

I thought Kelly was one of the most elegant guests there wearing the diamond and turquoise tiara and necklace of her handsome husbands great grandmother the last Duchess of Coburg (who was also Carl Gustaf's maternal grandmother).
