For me, the choice must be obvious because of most of my postings: Grand Duchess Ksenia (Xenia). My reasons are simply the fact that I can relate the most to her. Ksenia Aleksandrovna and I have so many things in common, and that draws me to her in a way--it's always nice to find someone like you, even if they are long-since passed away and I will never get to meet her. Yet I feel perhaps if we had known each other, we could have been very good friends. (And I love how she was so passionate with her husband in the early days, yet very refined, reserved, and proper. I can relate to that, also.)

What got me interested in researching her at first, I don't really know for sure. I was just drawn to her, and then when I found out how much we had in common, I became more drawn to her, as now. She was a very unique person, because her personality had a kind of duality to it that is rare in a person who is not split

. I have that same kind of duality. I am both passionate and impatient (as was she), as well as calm and serene (as was she). There are SO MANY things I could write, but I don't think anyone wants to read a book, so I'll just leave it at that...
