Hi Louise

First my apologies to the author of the blog, Murena, the owner of the photographs for unintentionally missing referencing source.
Full site:
http://murena.info/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=61
Military Chamber c1915s:

Louise, I do have thousands of photos but as yet no time to process through with working on research/translations. When I come across something of interest, I try to link here right away to not forget and would normally highlight individual photos then link to whole site. I like to think I forgot due to rush but I have funny feeling it is from aging!!!

Ah yes, the joys of aging...:-)

Thanks a bunch for the sites. I love to look at the before, the after and then the restoration work.

No rush from me regarding your posts. You are doing us a very big favor by posting what you have.

All the best with your work...

Louise

Recent tourists (at least the past 10 years anyway): has anyone ever tried to see the inside of the Gorodok's main building that one can access through the crumbling staircase/entrance. I have been there 3 times and each time I really really wanted to but I 'chickened out' each time!!

There are photos posted of the interior of the Gorodok on page three of this thread.  I took these photos in 2005.

A view with a building inside the gorodokĀ“s courtyard:

It would be lovely and fitting for these beautiful buildings to be restored with gardens and pathways all around,I am planning atrip to russia within the next 18 months so this will me a must to go and visit.

Thank you for starting this thread, and blessings to the lovely and good people who are looking after it.

Can someone please tell me how to get from the Alexander Palace to the Cathedral and Grand Duchees' Hospital and how long it takes?
I was unaware about all this so did not see it recently. Learning a lot from this website.
