They do certainly stand a very good chance of having a beautiful child!  As far as girls' names are concerned, what are the Queen's middle names?  Or what about Maud?  Astrid?  Ingeborg?  I have to confess I know very little of this family, so my suggestions for names are rather limited. :-/

Queen Margrethe (pronounced Margretta) has four names: Margrethe Alexandrine Thorhildur Ingrid. Actiually, the 'th' of Thorhildur is spelt with an Icelandic rune and pronounced as 'Th'. Alexandrine is a lovely name - that would be a good choice. CP Mary's mother's name is Susan, but that seems unlikely . . .

I believe it's her stepmother who is named Susan.  CP Mary lost her mother to some kind of heart problem in 1997.  Her name was Henrietta.  That could be in there somewhere methinks.

How about 'Hobart' for a boy?  It would get those Tasmanians all in a tizzie!

Ah, but she wouldn't necessarily be queen would she?  And couldn't they spell Henrietta as Henrjetta or with an Icelandic rune or something? ;D

Well, given what happened in the Netherlands and Belgium, I assume that if Frederik and Mary's first child is a girl, Denmark will change their succession law to full progmeniture - like wise, if Prince Felipe and his wife have a girl, the same thing will happen, and Prince William of Wales.

It would certainly make sense in this day and age to have the girls on an equal footing.  It's so nice that there are going to be so many young princesses in Europe - lots and lots of tiaras to look at!! (well in about 20 years or so anyway...)

Give it about 20-40 years and we will have Queen Victoria of Sweden, Queen Elisabeth of Belgium, Queen Catharina-Amalia of the Netherlands and Queen Ingrid Alexandra of Norway plus who knows how many others!
