LOL - what is a difference of 19 years, after all, emeraldeyes?  ;D

I had a wonderful birthday, thank you.  :D

And Kim, I'm considering from changing to a good Catholic boy to being a Moslem so I can marry more than one of the members of my harem!  ;)

Oh, and smiths chips . . . well I guess it's your loss.  ;)

To get back to your beloved topic,I add a link to some "Live"coverage of a concert both Princess Mary and Crownprince Frederick attended yesterday,Rock at Rosenborg,enjoy.Lucien.

http://www.bt.dk/royalt/

Btw,Rosenborg being another gem in Copenhagen,Danmark, one of the oldest (former)Royal residences,it is now a museum and home of  the Danish Crown Jewels.

I'm new to this forum but really like the good people who contribute to it and love royalty as much as I do.

Mary and Frederik are (or seem) very much the fairy tale couple!  Let's wish them much luck in the future.

That is early, the baby is expected next month, but do bear in mind that when Princess Maxima of the Netherlands was pregnant with Amalia, they said that she was expected in January, but she was eventually born in the beginning of December. (They just told the press another date than the expexted date :-/)
So maybe that's what they're also saying in Denmark.
I hope it's going to be a boy, because there already so much future European Queens :P, but as long as it's going to be healthy, it's ok.
But it would be nice, a 'miniture Frederik' ;D (or a child that looks like its maternal grandfather, haha :) I'm a big fan of CP Mary's father, especially in that kilt ;))

I think the Kings of Denmark have invariably been Christian-Frederick-Christian-Frederick etc for several centuries (except Margarethe of course); since Christian IX the succession as been:

Christian IX
Frederick VII
Christian X
Frederick IX
Margarethe II
C.P. Frederick

I know that C.P. Frederick will sort of break the pattern but I wouldn,t be surprised if they chose Christian, so he would be Christian XI. If Mary has a girl and then a boy, who will be first in line, the girl or the boy? There have been several alteratiosn in European constitutions regarding female succession that I feel quite lost. I know Margarethe inherited because she had no brothers, but perhaps things have changed since then and now the first-born inherits no matter its sex. ???
