I have built this house a few months ago as I am a big fan of the SIMS. The fact that the palace is not accurate is not really the creator's fault.... she can only use the objects available on the web...so she tried to reproduce the AP without having the exactly same objects, floors, wallpapers, doors, windows ect...  and the second difficulty is the size of the palace, she can't introduce all the rooms because of the ground's limit in the game... but the result is terrific in the game. On this site, you also have the catherine palace (wonderful) and on an other site, the kuskovo palace (from the same creator)

I know it was a different time and place....as the past often is(?)...but the icon draped bedrooms of the Imperial children are just so sad and....creepy....fanatacism as the standard for young,developing spirits....sigh....

I am a huge SIMS fan have been since the beginning. However, I won't get SIMS2 until early June because I am a mac addict. I never even thought about building palalces like that.
Nerdycool, thanks for sharing yours. I have a whole new way to have fun with Sims now.

You poor soul. I have also been a "simmer" since the beginning! When you get Sims2, you'll see all the great stuff you've been missing. Sims2 takes Sims and flushes it down the toliet. I look forward to you getting your hands on a copy!

Thanks Laura. I am counting the days. It was supposed to be here in May and then was delayed until June.

For those that are interested, I have updated pics of my Sims AP on my photobucket site. I had to reinstall Sims and forgot to save the first AP I did, so I had to rebuild. It's mostly the same, but there are a few modifications I did. It's still a work in progress, as most of the rooms are sparely furnished, if furnished at all.

I also have built a Catherine Palace (still building), and the Imperial train station. Yes, I am creating Tsarskoe Selo! I'll post those at a later date.
