Thomas, I understand your feelings but such is life when the images appear on the web. The most dissapointing is that many people never refer to the source. My point of view is that the link to site - if one have a large desire to show what he/she find - would be enough!!

Not all the Hesse Archive's photos are watermarked. Katmaxoz didn't post himself the picture  he just put it on his webshots account, but other member Roxanna DID post here.

That's odd I also thought the photo's from the Hesse archive were watermaked. I didn't realize the pictures were from the Hesse archive.

Svetabel..i meant that Katmaxoz posted that picture of the archive without credit to it in HIS webshot. Roxanna just found it onlñine and post it here having no idea that the poicture was part of the hessian archives
 
Well..he surely forgot to do it or didnt know it was from the archives since it doesnt have watermark. Im very sure know that he knows, he will link back to the Original page where that picture comes from.

Yes. If you see it online without watermark, it is hard to see it within the contex of any archiev...

Based on the dress style, it would have to been late 1890's so I think it's very possible it was taken in 1898.
