Bone in Tatiana's Nose

Have you noticed that in some photos, you can see the bone in Tatiana's nose?

And in some photos, it looks like it's been taken out of the picture.

Does anyone know why they would edit the bone out? Did they think it looked bad or something?

It could be the light, it could be the pose, the way her face is turned, or it could have been edited out. There are so many possibilities, really. Do we have any of the tricentennial photos of her facing the same way as the candid, so we can compare?

they used to touch up the photos all the time, i'm sure its been discussed somewhere on here, because tatiana's nose wasn't "fashionable" then, though i think its lovely!  :)

Yes, the candid, or non-rigid, non-formal shot, is the one with Maria and Anastasia. :)
