I always found Tatiana the loveliest of the girls as well, though her sisters weren't far behind. Olga has a classic, porcelain-doll beauty, while Maria's beauty is chiefly in the way her huge eyes are balanced by her generous features. She takes her paternal's grandfather's facial structure and makes it look feminine. Anastasia had the Hessian beauty, the delicacy of feature, and I always found her just as beautiful as her sisters, but there was just something about Tatiana...I think hers is the kind of beauty a camera could never really capture, as many great beauties had to be seen in person to be truly appreciated, but in the few photos that actually capture Tatiana's looks, she's literally
breathtaking. These, for example...

Thank you! :) I confess, Tatiana is certainly my favourite, and in photos like the ones I posted, I look at her and her sisters pale in comparison. I get the impression that she's the type who didn't photograph well, as I'm the same way, and in person, she was probably even more beautiful than her sisters. Olga, I think, was exceedingly photogenic, and Maria only slightly less so, though Anastasia had a bad habit of making faces for the camera. When she took serious photos, though, she was quite lovely. Each daughter had her own unique beauty, though in the photos I posted, she literally takes my breath away.
