Regrets?

I am curious... did Alexandra ever acknowledge her part in the monarchy's fall?  Did she ever admit to encouraging Nicholas to make some bad decisions?  Nicholas was responsible, but she was a great cheerleader for the autocracy.  I wonder if either of them realized that concessions might have been a good idea....

Not to my knowledge. Her letters and diaries from captivity show no regret or assumption of blame, and many of the Ekaterinburg guards who left statements behind testified about Alexandra's "haughty" and "arrogant" attitude right down to the last.

Arrogant would be a good word to use right now.  I started laughing when I read those accounts.  Maybe she was just trying to tick them off.  I know I would if I were in her position.
