Hi to everyone!  Posting Photos and you.

It is hard to know if a photo has been posted before.  But, that is what the "mods' are for.  If you have noticed this thread was cut by a lot a couple of days ago as I went through and deleted the photos that were duplicated.

I probably didn't get them all, but I check every now and then, so don't worry about posting duplicates.

Also, when you want to comment on a photo. please don't "quote" the photo.  It only makes a duplicate post.  We try to keep the photo threads to a minimum because those posters with "dial up" connections find it takes forever for a photo thread to load if it is too big.

And if possible, please post the names and date of the photo you are posting.  It would also be good if you could post the source of your photo.  That helps others who are not as familiar with the Romanovs as you are.

About the first photo of Alexandra that I have posted, the one in traditional costume: I'm sure that it's from the photo session of 1903, there are a couple more with Nicholas too.

Could somebody please tell me if this was taken in the mauve room? I've seen it somewhere labelled as that but I am unsure due to the style of the wall paper. ( I think this also may be my new favorite photo)

Unfortunately I found it unlabeled, I think that it is the Alexander Palace, but maybe I'm wrong, it could be Livadia too...
In which site have you seen it labeled as "mauve room"?...perhaps we can understand from the site if it is reliable or not...
