Dearest friends and family members

Our darling Redtoria / Purpletoria has a few problems I think, she seems to be developing multiple personalities. Perhaps she needs to seek the advices of a Holy Man or Miracle Worker of some description for a cure??? Does anybody know of such a person who can help this confused soul?  ;D
Either that or she needs to give up the plonk. Bavaria seems to be too beery a place ;)

I can thoroughly recommend Our Friend Efim Grigorievich Novykh for Purpletoria - an excellent Holy man. As for us, well, Princess Olga and I have crash landed on a remote tropical, desert island. We are fine, and such a miracle, I still have internet connection, so am able to share with you some exciting news! I have discovered the wreck of an old plane, which I think is Amelia Earhart's (I.E. Tatiana Nikolaevna!!!) I found some linen with Imperial monograms amongst the wreckage. There were also some old dried-up blood stains inside the cabin, but no bodily remains,,, Luckily I have my portable DNA testing device with me and I have tested the blood stains. The DNA proves to be a Romanov match, but there is some descrepency with the sample as compared to that of Prince Phillip's, so I am afraid, I can not prove anything just yet. Well, I had better go and explore more of the island for extra clues (as well as enjoy my honeymoon). Will get back to you later if there are any further developments.

Imperial & Recently-Wed Georgiy, I followed your advice and called upon Grishka the Holy Man to find a solution to my multiple-colour disorder. He certainly took some finding - in and out of alley ways I wandered until at last I came upon him in a most unholy place where he claimed to be tending the souls of the fallen.
He was quite convinced that the Bavarian beer was to blame for my colour changing and he recommended that from now I stick to Madeira & this seems to be working.

Now, Gerogiy, do you not think it a little thoughless to go wandering around your tropical island in search of DNA when you have a lovely bride to attend to? It really won't do for you to neglect her...Abandon all this quest for claimants & enjoy the romance.

Hello dearest Claimants:

Gregor:  What?  I discovered an airplane door on an island last  summer.  It had the name Amelia on the door but I had no idea what it meant.  You will be greatly rewarded for your genius at discovery.  I should be more up to date on my history.  I feel like a bumpkin.

I also found an ice pick near the South Pole with the name Ernest S. on it and just threw it away.  Maybe I can go back and get it someday. ;D

Hello Eaton X:  I sent you some Zoup from Anna's stock of it here at the palace.

Hope all goes well with your dog's DNA.  I am sure your dog's DNA is related to Joy.  Good luck.

Is the consierge related to any of your royal family?

We have a very holy monk here at the palace.  His name is Putinrasp.  I am sure is much more holy than any other so-called holyman in all of the empire.  I can have him at your service anytime you so desire, except on Holy Days and my birthday.

Take care....you're all doing very well.....Tsar Doug and the Saints of the Chapel.

Hello Dolly the Moonwalker

From the cage paper of HIH Dmitri-Alexei Percival George, Sovereign Feathered Budgerigarevich, M.A. of all Bird Brains, etc., etc.

WHAT????  you mean to tell me we are to do all this backwards?  I don't know how reversible parakeets are, and I really didn't want to find out.....  but here goes.

Dear Claimants--

It's really so interesting how this has all been working out. I have not only had some interesting interaction with that fella Gregory Potemkin, but yesterday I found myself at the Harmonia Gardens, singing along with the resident band leader, one Louis Armstrong. My gold gown was awfully heavy for all those dance steps, but things worked out fine and I ended up meeting old Horace Vandergelder at a darling chapel. Perhaps we will come across those tropical newlyweds should we go ahead with our cyberhoneymoon.

Still, I am rather worried about Bluetoria--or is that multicolortoria?! What an Imperial Chameleon she is!

Oops, I've just been called back to the parade scene. My goodness, there goes Walter Matthau!

Wow wow wow, fellas
Look at the old GD/GP Janet now, fellas!  :)

Dearest friends and family members

My dog Miss Pink is a direct descendant of Eira, I can tell by facial expresions, temperament and the inside of her right ear. I am happy to have DNA testing done to prove this fact.

How is everybodies costumes coming along for the ball??? Mine is done, and cant wait for the night! Everybody is going to look so natural and transluscent/ transparent or something.

I am still a tad worried over Lady Multitoria, the beer has affected her head somewhat.

Well, as you know, Princess Pink, my diaphanous Cinderella costume is at the ready, and none the worse for wear after its premiere at the wedding of a certain you-know-who. I shall forego the Victorian picture hat but retain the Marie Antoinette wig and dress it with a diadem or two.

However, at this point our costumes are not my major concern. Instead I am wondering if we are going to have a "Prettiest" competion. Of course I would win it  ;D  but still I cannot help but worry, for I have found that "who is prettiest" soon becomes a major obsession, no one can talk of anything else, and by-the-by people are to the point of smashing each other's faces in, arguing over who is prettiest.

Perhaps we should pick a "Prettiest" prior to the costume ball and just stick with it, come H E double toothpicks or high water?

I'm so confused  ??? . . . but then of course, what else is new?  ::)

The Pretty and Way Air-Headed

GD/GP Janet

P.S. Of course, we all know who is the most colorful . . . our dear friend, Lady Multitoria. Just keep the beer away from her and all will be well.

Dear friends and valued family members,

I second the call for a "prettiest competition", only catch, of course I shall win it ;D ;) :o
I shall bring along my magic mirror and he will confirm this and tell you all I am prettiest. :D
"Mirror, Mirror, on the wall, who's the fairest of them all?? Why, Princess Pink of course!" There, all settled then.

Great idea, Grandest Duchess Janet,
On second thoughts, maybe we could have a "most cutest competition" instead, then the guys can be in it, you know, the sort of thing babies go in, only of course we're not babies! How's that??
;D
And we could have a "colour competition" that way Lady Multitoria could win that one.
Hey, let's have heaps of competitions, lets get COMPETITIVE !

The always full of great ideas

My dear honeymooning Georgiy,
Please do not post anymore about Amelia without talking to me! You are about to stumble on my biggest secret. See, my great grandmother was actually the GD Olga. She escaped the execution and his out with the Earheart family. That is all I can tell you now. I fear for my life. I have lived in exhile because of my my GD great grandmother. I am the true heir to the throne. But I must plan my return carefully. (If you find any strange little toys near the plane, please keep it confidential. Grandmama was quite a swinger.) I promise to reveal all at the costume ball. Until then....

Dearest Courtiers:

It has come to my attention that Princess Lexi is claiming to be the heir to the throne of all the Russias.  ;D

My question is this:  but can she sing, dance and play the baliliaka?  Most  all of the imperial suite has a lot of talent.

Dear Princess Lexi:  what is your talent and how shall you be portrayed in our next stage review?

The new King of Siam is a ballet dancer, the new King of Monaco  (former Prince Albert) is a dance instructor and I am a line dancer from Hollywood movie fame.  So you see, dear one, we all have a lot of talent.  And I haven't even told of all the talent that GD Anna and GD Janet have at their very core.

Let us know, courtiers....we need talent.  Let's put on a show.......  Tsar Doug ....ready to entertain.... ;) :D ;D 8)

Dearest T.D.:

How scathingly brilliant! Do we have an old barn? You be Mickey, I'll be Judy (even tho' I am six feet tall) and we'll conquer the world!

Just another Babe On Broadway--

P.S. Plus, we can have our "Prettiest Contest," too! And Princess Pink, you can play the Lana Turner role. Woo hoo!
