You might wish to check the little pockets of Rex The Imperial Monkey's little outfit. Tsar Doug has been known to replace items the monkey has knicked from members of the Court. But that is another story...

Dearest Friends and Family Members

My Dearest Princess Finelly
You mean to say you did not wear the family tee shirt to the other threads??? Oh my goodness, I wear "Here Comes Trouble" absolutely everywhere, well, OK, I may need to rethink my standard royal uniform.
A hat you say you wore?? OK then, I shall also get a hat, would an upside down potty do??? It works for other royals........

Now that you are safely back home, I am sure you will agree, that there truly is No Place Like Home.........

Well, I think I need a holiday, after all the excitement, perhaps some little island in the Pacific....

Toodles, cherubs

Her Pinkish Highness

An upside down potty sans embellishments will not do. If you use the u.d.p. (see above), you might consider affixing chic sprays of feathers (I would remind you of the darling, whimsical, yet tres bizarre headdresses at the recent Charles and Camilla wedding), large faux fleurs (see Queen Mother photos) or even, perhaps, items from your kitchen (for originality).  I can quite, quite picture you in your potty bonnet embellished with spatulas and  meat thermometers....

Princess Finelly dearie,

An upside down potty must make you feel better dearie, btw It was I who took your wine and cigarette lighter.
Needed the lighter to find the bottles of wine between the "Here Comes Trouble" tee shirts. Do not hide them wear them. My nanny used to say: don't step without your tee shirt into the real world.

GD Melissa said wise words; We are Happy in our little Universe of Bliss.
You see, although we come from different countries, have different cultures and languages, here in this other world we are ONE FAMILY. Don't worry we hit each other with fantasy.
Dearie me", I'm befuddled by your wine ( good year as I may say).

So to stay Happy and cheer you up, this enchanted world needs a party.
All family members are invited tonight at Anna's place.
An upside down potty on your head- karaoke (musical songs) pyjama Party.
All new family members get a special edition of Anna's newest cd:" Always look on the bright side of life", with her nr1 hit- "It's a mad mad world and I love it".

Donations are welcome so in future every royal gets his/hers own H.C.T protection tee shirt.

Anna dear,

What time does the party start at your schloss? And what is the attire? Pets of the fourlegged variety allowed? Caio for now, GD Melissa and Ortino II & Zemira II

P. S. Anyone catch a glimpse of Tsar Doug in the stands at Wimbledon? Why wasn't he in the Royal Box? Who was that person he was with? Why are those seven children still wearing outfits made from curtains? Heaven knows that there are plenty of places to shop in London...and what is with "Darling Sixteen Going On Seventeen" and the nose ring?

The upside down potty works if you do not have a Real Ascot Hat.

For the fete at the schloss, I suggest that the Real Ascot Hat or Embellished Upside Down Potty be worn.

The key, however, if you check my initial post, is that this is ALL one must wear.  Otherwise, one looks embarassingly overdressed.

Melissa dearie,

Party starts at 8.30pm.
I expect my guests to arrive on cream colored ponies, with doorbells and sleigh bells.
When going through my garden beware of raindrops on roses.
For dinner we have: Schnitzel with noodles and crisp apple streudels. We have tea out of bright copper kettles.
It would be nice to see all ladies in white dresses with blue satin sashes. Pr. Finelly is going to wear nothing else but her hat. So I think it's better to stick to the same dress--- or no dress code.
Now when your dog bites or a bee stings, I feel very sad, so doggies under your chair please.
I have brown paper packages tied up with strings for my guests when the party is over.

As for Dougie dear, the last time he was spotted on  Tsarskoe live 8 stage doing the Switch with Will Smith.
Didn't come home for his zoop.

Dearest Courtiers:

Anna's Party at Eight sounds  great!

Will we hear a tinkling piano in the next apartment,  with
those stumbling words that told us what our hearts meant.   All of the court will sure to be there.

Will Anna's estate be a fairground of painted swings...all of these things remind us of home.

Oh, the telephone that rings, and who's to answer, oh how the ghosts of us clings to these foolish things.

What about our daffodils and long excited cables and Anna's candle lights on little corner tables  and still our hearts have wings, when we think of these foolish things.

Tsar  Doug.....wondering about the heavenly shades of night that are falling, it's twilight time, out of the mist GD Janet's voice is calling, that's when purple curtains mark the end of the day, I'll hear the courtiers calling at twilight  time.

 :D ;) 8)

PS:  you'll recall I used to be in showbusiness dear ones and you see I didn't quite make it a career....I figured it would be better to be the Tsar! ;D And my most sincere apologies to Dorothy Fields.

RealAnastasia,

No need to travel all the way to Japan, however thank you so much for the offer.  Without the backup of the rest of the family there, I am not sure we would be able to claim the treasure, and it's probably best to let it lie for the moment.

Well...You know much better than I what to do...So; I'll remain in Argentina, going to nice teas and celebrations in the Embassies until I wait people recognize me as a royal, I think I'll perform a nice DNA test for me, but perhaps it will not work, anyway... ;D

Baron von Trapp, eh?  Such a handsome gent... oh, I'd truly love to go back to Salzburg - it's been two years already, and probably even more has changed again.  I'll see what I can do about getting over there... am having a hankering for Mozart Kugeln anyway!

Me too. I miss Salzburg terribily much. And especially the delicious Mozarty Kugeln. It's a soo0 aristocratic place!  ;D

RealAnastasia.

P.S: A little note. Real Royals NEVER TREATS each other naming her or him by his nobility title. You ust talk using your personnal little nicknames.

Um . . . why does Tsar Doug mention me right after singing "These Foolish Things"?  >:(

Ordinarily my arms would be crossed and my foot would be tapping, but to be honest darlings I'm instead taking a quick blog break here at this charming little Internet cafe, and am still quite out of breath . . . I have no idea where we are at this moment, but Liesel, Frederick, Louisa, Brigetta, Marta, Gretl, and (golly, who is that other one ???) oh yes Kurt . . . well, we are all running and bicycling and dancing about the city streets (again, have no idea what city) in our curtain couterie and singing our little hearts out. It is exhausting, to say the least . . . perhaps . . . perhaps I've fallen into a time warp . . .

Oh oh . . . I think I hear some new music . . .

Okay, children, something a bit different then, are you ready?

"Let's Do the Time Warp Again!
"Let's Do the Time Warp Again!"

Because damnit, I'm the

The city is Salzburg, ma chère! It's terribly aristocratic... ::) And I don't believe that those children would like this kind of songs...

I do hope Tsar Doug issues an Ukaz so we can all go to a Claiments Part 10 soon - this one is getting so long. As for me, I have discovered further reasons why I must be Imperial - I am a multi-linguist! Je parle un petit peux francais, I also have that other wonderful Imperial language - Russian! Not to mention the language of one of the few remaining Empires - Japanese! Also Swedish, and a smattering of Danish, Norwegian and Icelandic. Oh yes. not to mention English!

Yes please.

BY THE WAY
I just saw a picture of my great grandma and she and her sister both look like the GDs. Kind of ironic...either that or a SIGN FROM GOD (or a quack good at hypnotism).
