Does King Michael have any grandchildren who could be heirs to the Romanian throne?

Margarita is NOT the "Crown Princess" of Romania.  This title can only be held by a male...females hold no succession rights in the old monarchy.

The claim that King Michael has "changed" the law is baseless.  What HM did say was the in the times we live today he would see his daughter becoming "Head of the family" upon his death.  He has also said that any change in the law of succession would only happen once the monarchy is restored and a crown council meets and presents the change to parliament.  The chances of that happening are...nil.

Princess Margarita is by far the most beautiful of the King's five daughters.  She has a devastating smile and an extremely sunny disposition.  I personally like her very much and think she is extremely capable and would have made a fantastic monarch. Alas, there is little hope of that ever happening.

Eurohistory, I would like to know more about Margarita? Have you met her personally? I always dreamed of meeting a royal and she seems to be in my liking? Do you have her address? I would like to write to her first. Does she respond to her mailings?

I have had the honor of meeting Princess Margarita.  For years I kept close contact with her.  I remain deeply appreciative of her wok in favor of the lesser fortunate in Romania, a labor of love for which she should be praised to no end.

I also hold HM and Queen Anne in the highest regard.  Both are magnificent people.  Nice, down to earth, real and honest.  HM is a man of great insight.  Queen Anne is an incredibly nice person, a true jewel indeed.

Princess Margarita is one of the first royals I interviewed for my magazine THE EUROPEAN ROYAL HISTORY JOURNAL, and I have attended several of the galas and fundraisers she organizes for her foundation in Europe.  The Princess, her husband and I cooperated in a book I published and financed in 2001 in honor of her father.

Women cannot succeed to throne, thus a baby would be a moot point.

I have known the family for many years, and Margarita is a delightful lady, very conscious of her family's history.

Even King Michael has clearly stated that the constitution cannot be changed until there is a restoration.  A republic is not going to get itself involved in a constitutional change for a defunct monarchy.  It would be most peculiar, even for the Balkans.

Is the monarchy even mentioned in the current Romanian constitution?

Not at all...the present constitution deals with a republican form of government.

I have read many good things about Radu Duda on his website http://www.princeradu.ro. I have also read some negative things. What is your opinion: is Radu a credit to the Romanian Royal House and King Michael, rather not, or neither nor?
