I am not terribly conversant with this family, and would gladly stand corrected, but in as much faith that one potentially may have in "Wikipedia," you might begin with the article on Alexander von Hochberg ( died 1984), who was styled among other fashions as "Graf von Hochberg ............. 5th Fuerst von Pless."  The last paragraph of the article states that "The von Pless line of his (Alexander's) family is headed by his nephew, Bolko Hochberg von Pless."       Regards,  AP.

Looks like him - as Colonel-in-Chief of the Ziethen Hussars, I reckon.

Thank you.I was a bit confused as I saw that Hans Heinrich XIX renounced his rights in 2003,so I thought that maybe it has something to do with his second marriage to a commoner, but again Bolko is also married to a non-noble lady and that's why I asked...in order to know does marriage rule play a role in who is going to be the next Head of the family!

Yes,he did...but I thought about his son, also Bolko, who is the current Head of the family, born in 1936,son of Bolko(1910-1936) and Clotilde de Silva y Gonzales de Candamo, daughter of 8th Marquis de Arcicollar(1898-1978)...

What is interesting here is that Clotilde was firstly married to Prince Hans Heinrich XV von Pless...after 2 children with Hans(Konrad and Beatrix)she married her stepson Bolko, son from first marriage of Hans with Daisy Cornwallis-West...She also had 2 children with Bolko which makes very interesting family relations and connections...Clotilde became sister-in law of her own children!

Interesting! Under UK law she wouldn't have been able to marry her stepson without getting a special Act of Parliament, as a stepson/stepdaughter is within the prohibited degrees.

Michael Luke, in his book on Hansel Pless, says Hans Heinrich and Clothilde obtained an annulment - Clothilde having confessed to being Bolko's lover from the start.  I don't know if there were any prohibited degrees within Polish law at the time, but an annulment would presumably have cancelled out the first marriage and allowed the second.  All very creepy.

Yes,especially that she was legal wife of father and son and had 2 children with the father and 2 children with the son which makes difficult family relations...
