Why Tatiana?
Michelle:
I believe it was Dmitri Malama.
Arianwen:
Actually, that's a fantastic question. Tatiana has always been my favourite, but less for her beauty than the fact that I saw her as the most like me (Olga is a VERY close second), and I have a great deal of admiration for her character. The one to take over when Alix needed rest and Aleksei was sick was Tatiana. Tatiana was a more capable nurse than her more sensitive sister, and Tatiana was trusted enough to be put in charge of Aleksei and the household at Tobolsk when Nikolai and Alix left with Maria. Tatiana was also a dreamer and greatly inclined to help others, like Olga, but did so quietly and in a practical manner. She was regal, but also had something of her mother's shyness. To me, she's always been very human, just like her sisters, and I can certainly relate to that capable, practical nature. That's me, the cool-headed one running the show in a crisis. lol

i think she was quite quiet (a dark horse could be), but her unusual looks made people wonder how she fitted in the family (my opinion anyways :-X)

I never really liked Tatiana as much as I did her sisters. Sometimes I would even forget about her. Until recently when I began to understand her and her character more. I seemed to understand her thinking better. I think the reason that she is probably the least popular is because its hard to relate to her most of the time. She never really did anything that I can relate to.
Sometimes it does seem as though Tatiana doesn't belong in her family because of her looks, but I've noticed that she does resemble Alexei alot.

Tatiana always seems to be the glue that holds the whole family together, i always thought she had this nak for helping people and looking after people, thats why she's my fave.
Its not because of her physical beauty either as i always thought Maria was the prettiest
