Why Tatiana?

I am so sorry mistake !!! Tatiana was also bossy though in a way, she is spoiled she was into fashion very much right? She defantly had a attitude of a princess. I realy think that I would not get along with a person thats bossy like that tells you what to do and acts spoiled that I mean we do not have much in common but I would defantly get along with Olga , Anastasia and Maria but not anyone that is bossy only if its for like taking care of someone, not just telling them what to do in general. Tatiana realy would be wonderful to have as a sister for the selfless attitude.

Tatiana may look like an Ice Queen in photographs, but she seems to have been caring, warm, and comforting.

If she had children, she would always be fair and fun... but also firm.

I think the same. She could have been a god mother, with a great sense of equilibrate love-fun-discipline. The three things must go along. If you are too firm, children become sad human beings and could not have a nice childhod (and a nice childhoos id needed to have a balanced adulthood)...If the lack of discipline is too big, they become spoiled. I think that in this sense, tatiana could have been an excelent mother.

But again, we don't know what could have exactly hapenned to Tatiana IF she would have lived. All we are doing is conjectures...Imagining things. Jut wondering...

oh i wasn't doubting (sp) her warmthness... it just goes alont with what RealAnastasia said. They lived through
that horrible time, and i don't think she was much of a spoiled princess... but maybe most of the sternest one out of the sisters.
If you think what they would have lived through, if they did make it, i just thought that maybe she would have been, not a stern mother, but a strict one non the less!

For the time period...strict is an obvious characteristic.  But there is no doubt in my mind that Tatiana would have been one of the most caring, and loyal mother known.  I think her 'governess' leadership amongst her siblings during childhood gave her a form of experience with children.  She may behave serious at times, and may look so, but I think that she would have treated her children wonderfully, but also teaching them right from wrong...and so on...

IMO, Tatiana was as loving and caring as all of OTMAA.  However, thought they all were close and signed themselves as one, they each had very different personalities.  Tatiana was no different.  She did however, always want to please and emulate her mother.  So her "Governer" persona was just as much to please Alix as it did to appeal to her own sense of responsibility, structure and order.  This was also a sign of how much she cared for others.  She was always concerned for her parents and siblings, especially Alexei who received many letters from Tatiana when he was at the front with NII.  As one of the two oldest, Tatiana and Olga as well were old enough to realize how much danger they were all in, especially when the family was seperated from Tobolsk. Being of a "take charge" character, like her mother she merely filled in to help the younger ones acclimate, and sensitive Olga was only clearly happy to let her take on the role. There are many letters to Alix as well.  The letters are in English and are addressed to Alix to correct the mistakes.  Seemingly, Tatiana wanted to be like her mother in all ways.

I must say that I always liked Maria an Tatiana the most. But honestly, Maria's "angelish" beauty is nothing comparing to Tatiana's grace ...and really her antire aspect. First of all she's incredible beautiful: tall, slender, green eyed, with dark hair ahd pale skin, an her bone structure is just great...such a perfect face. In avery picture she looks so fragile...but it's that fragillity that make you feel like you want to protect her. You can tell without a doubt that she's a royalty because of the way she carys herself...with great dignity. She also har that russian coldnes in her and that maked her even more special. As much as I would like Anastasia's sweetness, I have to say that for me Tatiana is the princess.

yes in the pictures tatiana looks very cold but inside she is an warm caring person.
she always helped her mum when she needed something or when she was ill.
She was an beauty yes i loved her eyes and bone structure.

The only think I doesn't agree is her being spoiled..Tatiana , spoiled? Olga and Anastasia looked much more spoiled than her (whithout mentioning Alexei, of course, who was the spoilest of the spoilest)...No, "spoiled" is not the word I would have used to depict her.

Her Imperial Highness The Grand Duchess Tatiana Nikolaievna was very beautiful,and tall,and mysterious.I have studied fashion.And judging from accounts about her height and weight she would have carried clothes beautifully.I for one favor her the most because I find he rthe most beautiful.
