She always seems so natural and lovely. I notice she wears pant suits now more and more. That jacket is beautiful.

The couple is moving to Washington DC,according to the Palace as Inaki has accepted a job with Telefonica there.

Inaki is a Board member of Telefonica Internacional since 2006.

Heavy weather for this family..Inaki is under strong suspicion of fraud with "Noos"  of which he was CEO until 2006.
Several already have been arrested and jailed.....Each day more and more details emerge of the mess
Inaki has gotten himself into and alltho the outcome of the inverstigation is not entirely clear yet, what is clear is
the involvement in the fraud by Inaki, but how far.....The consequences will be immens. It might be wiser for Infanta
Christina to give up her job at Caixa Bank as well.

HM King Juan Carlos has issued a statement that Inaki is ousted form all events, both private and public,of the Spanish Royal Family.
The statement came after the weak appologies by Urdangerin last weekend in an interview.

In other words,Inaki has been kicked out on the streets by the King and more meassures will
follow according to the statement by the Casa Real. One might be that Inaki will loose his title
of Duke of Palma. An other will be that the Royal House will open its books in a bid,and I believe
Juan Carlos, that the Spanish Royal Family is in no way involved in the allegations made towards
Inaki Urdangerin. The King has nothing to hide.

Urdangarins name will be errased from the Royal House/Casa Real website and from the Royal agenda ASAP.

SM El Rey doesn't take bull from anyone, least of all his own family members as they do have a role model, and he is very much aware
of that.Inaki caused the worst crisis ever for the Spanish RF since democracy was introduced in the late '70's with thew Inthronisation of the King.

Inaki has been summoned to appear in court on february 6th due to embazzlement of public funds by him and a business partner while CEO of "Nóos" ,a charity he ran with his wife,Princess Christina, the Kings youngest daughter.Millions of euro's given to "Nóos" from the Authourities of the Baleares islands disappeared to private accounts in tax-havens.

The Duke and Duchess of Palma are expelled from all public duties and appearances with the Royal Family by order of HM The King
who could have wished for a nicer birthday gift as HM celebrates his 74th birthday on january 5th.

In a recent speech HM said that no-one is above the law,and all in public service should be held accountable regardless,a clear referral to Inaki and his wife.

Lucien,
Since Princess Christina's name is associated with this "charity", how is the Royal family handling her involvement or non-involvement in this scandel?  I personally don't think she was involved in this, it was Inaki and his partners who were up to no good.

Still,Inaki purchased private property during his years with the charity to an amount that was not quite meeting with his official income,to say the least...she must "have known"  that at least...Both are expelled from the Royal Agenda, inaki might find him out alltogether after februari 6th,the princess is "kept out of the spotlight" too,at least for the time being.her father, the King, has said a few days ago that in public functions should face the consequences in case of impropar conduct, regardless whom. That was pointed at them both.

The King celebrated his 74th two days ago but had little to celebrate given the circumstances. In may the King and Queen will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary. We will have to wait and see who will appear or not at that time.

Inaki is now looking for a way out by way of a deal with the Justice Department as was disclosed today.
