I've also seen Olga sign her name as "Olga Romanoff".

In letters, Tatiana always made signatures
Татьяна----When we spell it, it sounds like :T-a-t-y-a-n-a.
Because letter я in russian spells as 'y-a'; and the letter ь make Russian words so meldoy, and 'soft'.
In names Olьga, and Tatьana, for example.

Yeah, that's how she wrote it; you can just make it out from her signatures.

And yeah Holly, I've seen OTMA sign 'Romanoff' a couple of times... There's even a company called 'Romanoff Vodka' which uses the double-headed eagle. I have a glass of theirs, lol :)

Yes - this is the French-influenced pre-revolutionary transliteration, and as far as I know the whole dynasty always used it when not writing in Russian. Members of the family who use the name Romanov still spell it this way. I've been rapped over the knuckles online by an extreme royalist in the past for using the "standard" version.   ;D

It is the French transliteration of it. Like in English it'd be 'Romanov', in German 'Romanow' but in Russian 'Романов'.

Just different ways of expressing it because of the difficulty with the two scripts.

Well, I'm not sure whether it was restricted to French (they could've used it in English), but they would have definitely written 'Романов', well for OTMA 'Романова', when writing in Russian.

I used to pronounce it as Tatiana.I'm not an English native, too.
It's an impression for us to speak it like Tashana because that's how we're taught (and it sounds beautiful, right?).
Thank you Irina and Leyla.
I'll now pronounce it as Tat-ya-na.

Indeed when some language is not your native some names are little bit hard to pronounce...
But on russian her name sounds really beautiful... Olga too... In my mothers work there are two Olgas and when i listen my mother speaks with them on Russian her name sounds so beautiful and returns me on Romanov theme :D
