Its funny because the Russians said that none of the skeletons found in 1991 (1992?) Could be Maria's because none of them showed a gap in the front teeth, but you can clearly see that the gap in Anastasia's teeth in this photo: http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh145/passions-killing-floor/tma.jpg (click to enlarge) Which means that based solely on 'gaps in teeth', the remains of the grand duchess found in 2007 could just as well be Anastasia's.

Um...that link is from my photobucket account...

I know I previously posted the image, but you could at least acknowledge that it was my posting, or account.

Minutochku...

A lot of people have previously posted that image. It's from Prince Michael of Greece's book, Nicholas & Alexandra: The Family Albums.

People absolutely deserve credit for their colorized photos, but I don't see how it's possible to be proprietary about black and white archival images. IMO, credit in those cases belongs to the books they've originally been harvested from, not the person who posts them.

That's not my problem....it's that the link is directly from my photobucket account...she could have easily taken the pic and posted it on a hosting account of her's.

I don't wish to sound rude, but just a question... If you're not paying for the hosting, what's the problem?

It causes me problems...for hours, I'd assumed she'd hacked my photobucket,
Because it had been so long since I posted the pic that I completely forgot.

Well I think it's not  a big deal from where is it... it's beautiful photo of TMA and doesn't matter.... you probably upload it on Photobucket and she/he (sorry don't know) took it ;)

Hey Brittany catherine, I think I owe you an apology. I actually pressed 'quote' in my last post but I accidentally deleted the quotes in brackets thingys, which was a pretty stupid thing to do. I hope you weren't too offended, I feel terrible that you worried your photobook had been hacked. I promise to be less careless next time. Sorry.

I'm trying to get to find the original source of the Photo Brittany Catherine ( and  others) have   posted -
Sarushka..... I've looked in my Nicholas and Alexandra: The Family Albums - Tauris Books 1992 edition,  but find that the photo is not there

Did you find it in a later edition? and if so can you tell me what edition and what page it's on

much obliged...........   :)

my mistake - I thought that photo refererance refered to the "smiling Maria at the tennis party"

I have looked through the Yale catalogue ( which I can highly recommend to anyone) but was not able to find it there either

does anyone know the source of this photo   ...
