Lots of Romanov birthdays this month: Alexandra's birthday was 4 days ago, and now Anastasia's birthday is 8 days after today, and Maria's is 8 days after that.

Well, although Tatiana's birthday New Style is actually June 11, tomorrow in most of the world, I can't resist chiming in with an affectionate 'Happy Birthday" to that precious girl, beloved by all who knew her  and by many who didn't (all those soldiers and their families she capably cared for  as a nurse and committee  member) .

She'll always be twenty one and beautiful in my eyes.

Personally, I've decided that rather than celebrating their individual birthdays that I'll just honor the entire month of June "Romanov Remembrance Month", since 4/7 of the family were born in June (plus I always feel guilty when I forget a birthday...)

As Karin said, it is actually a close-up of the famous 1913 family portrait. It was posted in a very nice size and quality by TatianaZ, into the last but one Coloured pictures otpic I think. I would give you a direct link but I am too lay to look for it right now.

Right. Her DOB would have changed after 1900 to the 11th. Always tricky with these late-Imperial Russians. You often have to remember three birth dates. Old system, new system and new system adjusted after 1900 :-)
