As he had no children, I would be looking for closest living descendants.
If so, how can I locate and contact them?

I am a researcher in another field and have come across very interesting and important information
that the descendants should be the first to learn about.

I would appreciate any assistance that anyone on this forum can assist me with.

You are presumably thinking of his closest living collateral /i] descendants, i.e. the descendants of his brothers and sister.

There is Maria Vladimirovna, the current Romanov pretender, great-granddaughter of his elder brother Vladimir.

There are the great-grandsons of his younger brother Paul, and the descendants of his sister Maria Alexandrovna, who include King Michael of Romania and Crown Prince Alexander of Yugoslavia.
