Many thanks for the photos. Condecontessa and Lillianna. They are wonderful! If you have any more ...

It's been forever and a day since I last posted, but I got inspired by the the ground floor plans Philippose posted a link to last May. Since the original is so frustrating small I decided to re-do it. The results are below. I more or less followed the original floor plans, but I made a few changes based on photos I found - e.g. add/delete a window or door.

It's a work in progress ...

You're welcome Amy, there's more to come but I have to find it in my computer files because I don't remember where I saved it. Lilianna's the one tht sent it to me.

I hope nobody will get me for my posting these pics under the Livadia floorplan thread. Finally did some digging and here goes:

(Left) The Imperial couple's bedroom, (right) Alexei's bedroom

Alexandra's boudoir ( There's a picture taken of the family in this room)

Thanks for the photos. :)

Like I mentioned before, the floor plans are a work in progress ..

Below is an updated version.  I re-oriented the compass points to match google earth's, added a few doors I missed, some stairs, fireplaces, and IDed a few more locations, including Nicholas II's Reception and Billiard Rooms.

That looks like Greg King's and Penny Wilson's, which BobG posted a link to earlier in this thread. Most unfortunately though, these floor plans are not quite right. This isn't a criticism, just an observation. Penny herself even mentioned when she first posted the link to them that they are "based on a number of plans drawn by friends who have visited and on other materials, and may be somewhat different to the actual plans..." And so they are.

To my limited knowledge, the only actual plan to surface so far is the ground floor. Since this copy is so frustratingly small ... :)

If you don't mind me asking, Condecontessa, what is the book that contains the photos of Livadia about? I can't read Russian, sorry.

Is this the photo you're thinking of?

Yes, Sarushka. That's exactly what I was thinking of.  :) Ortino, Lilianna sent me the pics, so it came from the book Romanovs and the Crimea. If you're asking about the picture of the front cover of a book I posted awhile ago, I can't read Russian either. I'm sorry. I wish I have that book (sigh). :(
