To everyone who posted them, thank you for the floorplans. It's very interesting to see the layout of Livadia. I was wondering about Alexei's rooms. Everyone else had their rooms on the upper floor except for him. Could this be for his convenience after recovering?

Alexei's rooms are located right above the N&A rooms, they are with a sea view.

It is the Persian (Iran) hand-made tapestry “NII with AF and the son”

While searching for Livadia pictures, I happened upon a link which I'm assuming discusses, at least in part, the construction of the new palace at Livadia. The text may be interesting for those that read Russian, but for those who do not (myself included) there are sketches some of the architectural details ...(I think!)

I have searched but unable to find if this was posted before - Details of the construction of Livadia palace including Kitchen building of 90 rooms (!!) and garages, etc. The palace had 3 elevators.

here I have a plan which is shown in the palace itself

this tapsetry diappeared from the palacve, and was recently bought by a German at Sotherby's. It is NOT part of the palace property, it's only on loan there.
