Of course it doesn't matter, lol.  It's just a bit of harmless fluff!

Queen Silvia seems like a wonderful and genuine person, and Sweden is lucky to have a queen they adore.

On wednesday june 28th,TM will open an exhibition of drawings of Queen Christina's collection
at the museum der Bildende Kunsten,Leipzig,Germany.

On friday and saturday,june 30th and july 1st,TM will be in attendance at the Silver Wedding celebrations in Luxembourg.

my mind is leaving me and i can't exactly remember who it was about, but i read in a royalty book that queen elizabeth was hoping to marry princess anne to some prince (i don't remember who so this might be off topic cause he might not be scandanavian). the prince married someone else and the whole british family boycoted his wedding. anyone else know anything about this?

Actually, the Prince of Wales said nothing of the sort.
he does suffer at times from foot in mouth disease - but he certainly did not make such comments about the Swedish royal family.  It is unlikely that invitations were extended to most royal families because Charles' wedding was not a state occasion.  The families are not close - it would have been more likely that Lord and Lady Brabourne would have attended the king's birthday celebrations as they have a closer relationship.

It was unlikely that the queen would have wanted Anne to marry a prince.  If you read something like that, you read it wrong.

There were press rumors about Anne and Harald and Alexandra of Kent and Harald and Irene of Greece and harald ... but he was involved with Sonja for ten years before they married.  No one from the British royal family attended their wedding because Princess Marina, Duchess of Kent had died the day before (or thereabouts).  Anne is a godmother to Crown Prince Haakon.

TM will pay a State Visit to Canada from october 24th to the 28th.

In Canada TM will visit Ottawa,Montreal,Toronto and Quebec City.Included are various visits to culturel,sport and environmental sites in these cities as well as opportunities to meet Canadians and Swedes living in Canada.
