Hi all,

Please I need to know how mutch is the entrance fee to pushkin with Catherine palace, and hoe can I get there from St Petersburg.

I would really appreciate.

There is a variety of entrance fees -

The Catherine Palace
The Catherine Park
The Exhibition in the Cameron Gallery
The Exhibition in the Cold Baths
The Exhibition of Carriages

The Alexander Palace

These change annually and I cannot tell you this year's charges.   I think it will be not less that $15 for the Catherine Palace.

From St Petersburg there are two ways to reach Pushkin by public transport -

By train from the Vitebsk station.   It is a very long walk from Pushkin's railway station to the Palaces.   It is  interesting, but it does take time.  Alternatively you can take a taxi - these are not expensive.

By micro-bus from the southern end of Moskovsky Prospect (not far from the Pulkovskaya Hotel).   The buses travel regularly to Pushkin and Pavlovsk and if you can ask the driver, you can get off the bus quite near the Palaces.

And if you're a student and you brought your ID card,  admissions are discounted!

In most, if not all cases, my admission (the student) was half the price of my husband's.

The minivan that leaves from Moskovksy Prospect costs a little less than a dollar and brings you in front of Gonstiny Dvor in Pushkin. From there, it is about a 10 minute walk to the palaces.

I can try to find out what the current admission prices are in the next few days, but I am sure for the Catherine Palace it is still something around $15.
