Help with locations on map

Following is a portion of a pre-revolutionary map of Tsarskoe Selo.  I'm in the process of trying to fill in the location of various sites.

Can someone tell me the exact location of the Imperial RR Pavilion?  From everything I have seen, it's my guess that it is located on the rail line close to the Egyptian Gates.

Also, where is Anna Vyrabova's house?  Is it the small orange colored building, on the corner, just north of the Lyceum?

Next, does anyone know the identity of the small orange colored building just to the southwest of the Llama pavillion?

Lastly, where was the elephant kept?

My english is too bad when trying to explain locations, so i used your own map to mark the places. Hope this helps...

The blue point is marking the corner where Anna Virubova´s house is located.

The building you mention to the north of the Liceum is the church of Our Lady of the Sign.

The building to the southwest of the Llama pavillion is indeed the Elephant House.

I´ve put a green point where the Imperial Railway pavillion should be. It seems this plan is previous to the construction of the pavillion and additional railway, and i have also draw in deep red the railway line that was built for Nicholas and Alexandra´s private use.

Well, the house of Anna does always appear in Russian maps and books as the house of Teppere de Ferguson, linking it to the time when Pushkin visited it. Surely no one in soviet Russia would have preferred to name it "Anna Virubova´s house". Anyway, i can tell you for sure that this is the house of Anna, as i have visited it several times.

Could you help me with finding the location of the Court Pharmacy (now a hospital) where my father-in-law worked? I know Antonio was kind enough last year to identify the Court Pharmacy as becoming a hospital, and gave the street address, but I have not been able to find it. Also, the location of the Lutheran Church in Tsarkoe Selo? Many thanks in advance!!!!

The church (currently belongs to the Finnish Lutheran parish) is at 4, Naberezhnaya St.
The hospital (former Court Hospital, of which the pharmacy was a part) is at 5, Gospital'naya St. The current street names are the same as before 1917.

I had the opportunity to walk over to the former  imperial train station last week. It is about a mile or so from the AP past the Gorodok. The way I got there was to walk up Akademichesky St, which is the road on the right hand side of Feodorovsky and also past the Calvary buildings on the right (not shown on the map). There is a relatively new neighborhood there and in the middle of it are the ruins of the imperial station. They are literally ruins, it is almost a surreal site. The building is abandoned and closed off, but I was able to take some photos, outside and in through the windows, but will not be able to post them until I get home in a couple of weeks. BTW, the rails are no longer there...

Yes, indeed Anna's house is one and the same as Teppere de Ferguson's house, which is what it is officially known as. Today is it the justice of the peace office. It is located on Tserkovnnaya Street, about a block from the AP gates. I also have some photos of it, but again can't post them until later...

I wonder what happened to the restaurant that opened there in 2002? It seemed to belong to the railway equipment factory that occupies the former rail station site.

There is definitely no restaurant there, the building is completely abandoned... It doesn't look like there was was much of anything there for a long long time! Of course that doesn't mean anything as many places look abandoned but are not. There is a restaurant in the Gorodok, which only looks abandoned. It is right next to Maria's and Anastasia's hospital, through a little archway, and it is called "Staraya Bashnya", I think. Maybe this is the one you are thinking of?

No, I've meant the Tsarskyi Pavillion restaurant mentioned in the Imperial Train topic. But I've now realised that it was another, although very close, building.

Dear Mike, many many many thanks for your map. My family will be thrilled to see where Grandpa Leo lived and worked. My father-in-law considered the time he spent employed at the Court Pharmacy as a very happy time in his life. This makes it all seem much more real. I wish he was alive so he could enjoy this website and contribute to it. He was a very proud Estonian, but also very proud of his service to the Imperial Family.

You're welcome. The hospital buildings are still more or less as they were back in the 1910s. Probably it's possible to locate where the pharmacy used to be (or still is?).
