Love that picture, Jen_94! What a beautiful ceremony it was.

Does anyone know where they were going to go for their honeymoon? I haven't seen anything on the web, but I haven't searched very much at all.

I love their smiles in that one! Can I just comment on how much her eyes stand out in some photos? Beautiful!

I wonder too. Maybe somewhere hot? I don't know...

Chris took Madeleine to the same Seychelles island and villa that Prince William and Kate stayed in during their honeymoon in 2011. Unfortunately, I found about about this because the Swedish paparazzi discovered their location and took pictures of them, which infuriated Madeleine. She took to her Facebook page and posted the following:

''We continue to thank everyone for their loving warmth and well wishes regarding our marriage. Sadly, the Swedish tabloid press have taken it upon themselves to destroy our privacy and place private photographs of us in their publications today. The one thing we wish is that, if only for these few days, our privacy can now be respected.''

I totally agree about her eyes. Ever since she went back to her natural hair color, which looks absolutely gorgeous on her by the way, her eyes are even more intense. All of the King and Queen's children are incredibly beautiful. Now we just need to get Prince Carl Philip to stop using so much hair product and get a decent hairstyle!

They are indeed, a really striking beautiful blue! They have all been blessed with their good looks I think. Even little Estelle! I think Carl Phillip needs a decent hairstyle too! But they are all nice looking.

Oh and Madeleine and Chris are on their honeymoon in the Seychelles, if I remember right. It's a shame the Swedish press leaked the honeymoon pics, as Madeleine put on her facebook page.

This morning the royal court announced the birth of a daughter to Madeleine and Chris O'Neil. Madeleine gave birth to a daughter on February 20 2014 at 10.41 pm local time New York. Both mother and child said to be in good health.

According to previous reports, the child will be bestowed the title princess - which I feel is a bit odd.

Her name will be announced at 3 PM continental time today.
After what I've heard, she is to have five names and "experts" think that Sibylla (after princess Sibylla - Madeleine's paternal grandmother) will be one of them.

I am surprised that she does not carry the O"Neill name.

The first two official photos of princess Leonore Lilian Maria, countess of Gotland.

I first thought there was morganatic* Gothic / Gotham slumming going on here à la Count of Wisborg, but it turns out that Leonore dicta Bernadotte O'Neill is indeed Duchess of Gotland, in the proud succession of said degraded Count of Wisborg and king-turned-pirate Erik / Bogislav of Pomerania. And not forgetting her grandfather the King and her cousin the Queen of Denmark, whose successors both used to claim to be de Götes (och Vendes) konung.

Very fitting that she's the Duchess of an island, considering that the O'Neills provided many high kings of Ireland and that the MacNeils are based on the Hebridean island of Barra.
The nearest Swedish equivalent of O'Neill is of course Nilsson. The most famous Gotlandic Nilson so far being Visby-based Pippi Longstocking's monkey herr Nilsson. Har du sett min apa, min fina söta lilla apa. Har du sett herr Nilsson, ja för han heter faktisk så.

* Strangely it is the opposite of morganatism going on here, a title being transmitted (or rather bestowed) via the cognatic line.

Берёзы севера мне милы,—
Их грустный, опущённый вид,
Как речь безмолвная могилы,
Горячку сердца холодит.
