Does anyone know if any other buildings, architectural designs, styles or designers influenced the design of Alexander Palace? What were the inspirations for some of the rooms and exterior design? Any input would be great!

They were the designs of Quahrenghi, who designed and built it. there is a lot of information here about him. That will really answer your question.  Alexandra's rooms were inspired by the Art Nouveau movement in Darmstadt, sponsored and supported by her brother Ernst Ludwig.
