y did they have veils wen they were only going into the car? her shoes are so kewl! they are all pointy!!!

Just taking a wild guess here, but maybe they wore those veils so their hair wouldn't be terribly dishevelled, or to protect their faces from dust or insects flying by, since most of the cars I have seen them in were open on top.

Thats what I thought too. The wind would really mess up their hair!  ;)

Yes...There was in the fashion of times for women and young girls wear a walking stick. I read that around 1905, that became REALLY a common fashion in women. I have an article in an old Argentine magazine from back then, where they write about "the new fashion" of the walking stick.

I also likes very much the ladie's fashion in the 1900. But I'm not a great fan of the fashion who get started in 1910. The dresses were awful. Women must be excessively thin to fit into them...So, it was a fashion especially made for our dear Tania!  ;D I have a couple of articles, again in Argentine magazines from that time, where the authors said they didn't like women new fashion, for they were obliged to be "as thin as sticks" to wear it. And I agree with them. I also read that there was a real "boom" in absurd diets and an actual desperation to be thin and perfect.

And I can't bear those huge hats women  started to wear in the 1910 years, until the 20's.  They seems to have real O.V.N.I s over they hair!  :D I like much more the little beatiful hats with feathers and ribbons they wore in the early 1900 and late 1880...They were really ROMANTIC as well of the dresses, all puffy and stretched in the waist, showing very well the feminine forms.

I'm sure they did wear corsets, children used to wear corsets from the age of two or three, but i think that was a little bit before OTMA,
