Hmmm, something expensive probably, with a potty hat. I will try and find a kilt with an Imperial Eagle on it. Just so long as no one wears what our poor illustrious Romanov ansestors had to wear on their wedding nights - it sounded so heavy it's a wonder they could even move and so ridiculous looking it's a wonder the brides didn't die from laughing. I don't have the description close at handbut it was quite something. Still, no doubt someone will turn up in it...

Sorry I'm late.  I had to rush to Angus of Hollywood to buy meself a new plaid potty hat for the pajama bash.

Shall we be served haggis at this event?  Shall I bring tartan barf bags?

Please do, just in case! Well, I'd better go and clean up the place before you all descend on us! I just heard back from Prince William, who is in the country, but unfortunately, he has a prior engagement, so it will just have to be an exclusively Romanov PJ Party!

No. It looks like a real tiara lol. (You are forgetting i am a REAL princess.)

However, I will refer to myself as Maggie Patterson because it's the name commoners call me by and it's Scottish. I also have "the map of Scotland written across my face" as I have been told.

Also, I will bring my set of Jeremy Kittel CDs (I'm listening to an archived performance now actually of SCOTTISH reels). I guess the jazz one wouldn't be Scottish but "Celtic Fiddle" and "Roaming" have Scottish tunes on them. Actually I would bring them anyway because they go everywhere I go (overnight).

I think I will bring my cd of Amish music because, after all, Amish people and the Scotch have a lot in common.  For example,

Never mind.

Whoa, I leave blogsville a few days and come back to find everyone has moved!! At least I was told via pm. Nothing like when my parents moved and left no forwarding address.
My dear Tsar Doug, several million threads ago, you honored my claim as a grand duchess...or I guess that is Grand Duchess? I ask you now, if you will so honor me with the title of Goddess? Or goddess, either will do. I like that better and I can sing all the words to all the Mary Poppins songs.
Anxiously awaiting your reply

Well, DUH!  It sure would!  Were your parents one male and one female?  Did the male parent have a deeper voice than the female?  Mine were and did.

What are you wearing to the scottish fete de pyjama, dearie?
