GD/GP Janet dearie,

Yes wer're going to miss you .....how could we not.
I'm crying a river not seeing you for some time :'(
I expect you will behave- no moonwalking or extravagant appearances Don't forget to hand out royal flyers every place you visit. You know the ones with T.D. on the front saying: "I eat what my people eat: Doritos".
Have a nice time dearie :-*

Lexi dearie: Soooo nice to be invited to your remodeled palace. I appreciate having  my own colored room and I don't want to sound ungrateful, but could you remodel the room in red? Don't get me wrong, I'm not defecting. I'm reddish because of my character- wild and mysterious, I could never be a pink GD, we already have one.
You can have one maybe two of my sunglasses :-*

Anna 8)

Ps. I stick to what I saw- The Count is bald!!!

To all,
I have missed so much since my last post. Tsar Doug, I am so glad you are well and back from your royal mishap.
My Dear Count, you seem to have stolen the affections of all the women in the court. Might I suggest a party in your honor? At which time, we can discover how bald you really are. Kind of an unvieling, so to speak. I will be happy to host the big event at my papace in Gatchina. It is completely remodeled and includes a pink room for darling Anna.  8)
Tsar Doug, in your honor, I am have the shrubs sniped into the shape of Doritos. Those clever Yanks. What will they think of next? I do hope my sister will be back from the Mile High city in tiime for the event. I must insist that we all dress as we were attending a coronation and wear lots of bling.
I would also suggest a theme for the gala...like Sled Dogs or something along those lines. I am open for suggestions.
Please RSVP ASAP,
Grand Duchess Lexi

Mile High City? That's where I'm going on Friday. I guess I don't need to send a postcard back.

My dearest Anna,
The peasants are repainting your rooms as we speak. Red it is. I have arranged for an orchestra to that we may be entertained in the ball room. They will of course be playing Wagner and possibly (is we ask really nice) a few renditios of Vanila Ice. (I chose Vanila Ice because of your recent experience at a polar cap.)
Doug the shrubs are now all trimmed into the shap of Doritos except one, which the royal gardner insisted on trimming in the shape of a guacamole. Sheesh. And of course, doritos will be served. In honor of my sister, GD/GP Janet we will also be serving tamales. Must run now, have to supervise the painting of Anna's room.

Lexi,

Thank you so much for the invitation.  I'm sure we're all looking forward to it!

Yours,
Tashenka

p.s. if GD Anna's room is being done in red, does that mean I can't wear a red dress?  No problem, just want to know which tiara to wear - the rubies, the pearls, the diamonds, whichever  ;D

My scalp positively tingles at all the attentions directed toward it. I would not be surprised if it was absolutely blushing!

I suppose the only way to settle the discussion is for me to set aside my innate shyness and bare all, so that the truth may be seen. However, I shall reveal in advance that Princess Tasha indeed tells the truth. My hair is full, though quite short (much shorter than my mustachios), except for the site of my sabre wound. I can only suppose that Anna may have been distracted by some side conversation in the room while observing the top of my head, leading to a slight mis-remembrance. Pity, though - I distinctly remember Princess Tasha being...ahh...highly distracted while perusing the top of my head, yet she seems to remember quite correctly.

A party in my honor? I am sure I deserve no such attentions from the Ladies at Court, being a mere soldier of the Tsar, but after all, a party IS a party...how could anyone refuse such an engagement?

Ahh, and in answer to that age-old question - How many surrealists does it take to change a light bulb?

Well, honored Courtiers, the answer is simple:

It takes two: one to hold the giraffe and one to fill the bathtub with blue machine tools.

Perhaps some clarification is warranted when I spoke of Princess Tasha being highly distracted while perusing the top of my head, lest anyone in the Court take it in a less than discreet way. It all happened during a sled dog race in Kamchatka. Our teams got quite entangled at a break in the ice on one of the rivers we were forced to cross, and we were at risk of attack from a number of wild bull moose, as it was the mating season. Milady Tasha graciously ministered to a cut just below my eye patch, and hence got quite close to the top of my head, though under the most distracting circumstances, as I'm sure you can imagine. The story of our recovery and the race to victory is a long one that perhaps I can share more of one day...

Party update.
Tsar Doug,
The coronation thrones from St. Andrie Hall have been returned to Gachina and await your arrival. Of course, the throne room has been completely restore and I am sure you will find it liking. I have taken the liberty to add two small bright red plastic stands on which will be crystal bowls filled with Doritos.
The symphony will perform in the theater on the first floor.
I trust this will meet with your satisfaction.

lexi,

I must say your preparations sound divine, especially the red plastic stands - though they might perhaps be taken as a political statement - should we choose some other colour than red, perhaps? I seem to remember that these "Dorito" inventions arrive in brightly colored packages, sometimes even blue, for what the Americans call "Ranch" flavor...

My dear count,
Howt thoughtless of me to use red. Perhaps I should have them repainted to purple?
I have a special surprise for you my dearest count. I have ordered a shipment of Rogaine in your honor, Of course, it wil also come with a few cases of Vodka. Should it turn out you do not need the Rogaine, we can always give it to the peasants. You know what I always say: "let them eat cake." We all should eat cake.

Dearies,

Lexi your such a royal doll,  I'll give you my special sunglasses with ear-and microphone build in ( the one I used to wear being Q Beatrix's Lady- in Waiting so she could warn me in case she wanted tulips or had to go to the ladies). We can talk to each other even when on the other side of the ballroom ;) Oooh good choice Vanila Ice- Ice Ice Baby I like that and I was allways fascinated by Das Rheingold- gosh what blings, I feel like a Walküre.

Tasha dearie, you may wear a red dress for the occasion, I should wear the pearl tiara if I where you. As for Tsar Doug and I, we're appearing in pitch black- yes we'll arive in the evening when it's dark, tho' our outfits will be totally black! Like the king and queen on a chestboard. Dougie dear's dorito decorations and my diamond blings looks best on black.

M. Le Comte, "I can see things" no ghosts but I have special sunglasses and a GD/Spy can't be fooled ;)

So have to run my dearies Tsar D. needs help with his dreadlocks.

I can make the cake! Dessert is the only thing I can make without burning the house down, and I want to help out however I can.

Count Valentin:

It is indeed. Revise that to H-E-Double-Toothpicks in a deep dish.

Yours for unburnt chocolate--

You makes me hungry reading your post! "Doritos" seems yummy! But are you sure that they aren't related to mexican "Nachos"?

And now that we are speaking about meals, I would like to invite the Tsar to my personal "dacha" in Buenos Aires province, along to eat a wonderful and tasty "Asado" (our National Barbacoa!  ::)) with lettuce, tomato and onions salad, dressed with lemon, oyl and salt. As dessert, our blessed Tsar could have an Argentinian pancacke filled with "dulce de leche" (a tick milk caramel; well, I think it's toffee).

Of course, all the family is also invited to my exclusive party. We'll perform dances and exhibitions.

RealAnastasia.
