Imperial Family Claimants...Part 2
« on: July 04, 2005, 12:00:10 AM »
Dearest Courtiers:

I always am at the ready to fulfill the wishes of our dear imperial family.  The Imperitor Greg  requested that we start a Part 2.

Remember we had 'Part [1].  Then we requested a new Part  II , Roman Style and  our dear Princess Pink got all bubbly and started, of all things, Part 11.

We all missed Part 2-10, so now we have an official Part 2.

Tsar Doug........is anyone confused, Possoms? ;D :D 8) ::) ;) :-*

As you can see we have had about nineteen thousand people log on to our imperial claimants threads.

For myself I log on at least two hundred times a day so those figures may be a bit off. :o

Yes, that's 19,000 of the best people on earth.  Everyone loves our thread, even Vlad Putin checks in every day or so.

I did get an email the other day stating that the nuns at Mother Teresa's convent in Calcutta,India love our thread and read it daily with their tea.

Hang on, now we are boring, we are suppose to be on Part 22! What went wrong? Or at the very least Part 10? (Remember we had to work backwards carefully so we missed nothing?) Oh Dear, now I'm hopelessy befuddled and endlessly muddled.......

I need to rest....

Here I stand, with my ermine-embellished silk bathrobe and a mimosa, wondering:  What happened?  Where did everyone go?  Have they moved on and I am left here?

Oh......there you are!

Dear Ones:

The reason we need to have a new thread every so often is that it takes so long to load the page on the computer.....this is especially true if you have a 'dial-up' type internet provider.  Not everyone has high-speed connection.

Princess Pink, you are doing just wonderful today and I am so happy to see you step right up and be a part of our new PART 2.

And Finelly, you are most gracious and upright this day to be there with all the courtiers in PART 2. I forget what a mimosa is....is that a tropical drink with a paper parasol on the side?

Dear Tsar Doug,

The Tsarkoe Selo Junior College Extension Program course catalogue lists a "Bartending, Drink Recipes and You" class. Could be right up your imperial alley! And you can take it "Pass/Fail" which should fit right into your busy schedule.

Caio for now, GD Melissa and Ortino II & Zemira II

Dearest Melissa:

Yes, I  have enrolled in our college course on drink mixology, pass or fail.....or is it pass out and fail? ;D

Our first lesson is how to spell the proper titles of all  two thousand drinks. ;D

BTW, it is Mimosa....not mimosa. ;)  The proper use of caps  and lower case is a part of the final exam.   Let's see is that, Manhattan or manhattan? ;D  Coke or coke?  Mint Julip or mint julip.  I have discovered that all real professional bartenders are actually masters of the English language and should be teaching at Harvard or MIT.

Tsar Doug...just trying to be correct and proper in all aspects of life....you wouldn't want to be served a cocktail by some illiterate oaf. ;D 8)

Fresh-squeezed orange juice and champagne....

I drink it while sitting on Margarita's lap whilst Lexi holds my parasol.

In your dreams!!!!

You know, I like this new thread. I feel warm and fuzzy that I was mentioned before I even posted. And since I'm a princess (see, like, page 16 or 17 of part 11 for my proof) it's ROYAL warmth and fuzziness which is so much better than COMMONER warmth and fuzziness.

I have arisen from the lap of Margarita to respond to an urgent pm to respond on this thread.  <martyred sigh>  Oh, the burdens I, a true daughter of Nicholas (via sperm bank) must bear!

Dear Margarita feels warm and fuzzy - perhaps she did not read my  earlier post on the old thread, wherein I (whilst channelling someone else's spirit) beat her to shreds...

I have been reading threads re: the nose of Anastasia, AA, FS, and others.  I have concluded that I have a nose.  This conclusion is based on both touch and sight, as well as experiments drawing air in and out of my face.

Dear Fellow Claimants,

I regret that I shall not be joining you for awhile this evening. The entire city in which I live is having several fireworks displays in my honor, and I feel duty-bound to attend, wave the royal wave, and smile politely.

I always thought a mimosa was a flower. Such a sheltered naieve life I live. Enjoy the fireworks Princess Fin, we won't have any here till 5 November when we have Guy Fawkes, but on the other hand, (aside from One's Truely) we have visiting Royalty in the country at the moment - one of Diana's boys who's come to see the rugby. I'm just annoyed that I can't park my limo where I normally do as they have closed one's street off...

I HAVE A NOSE TOO! WE ARE RELATED!!!!!!!!!!!!

I *did* read the post where you beat me to shreds. However I have concluded that you really were channeling another's spirit and since I am a gracious Grand Duchess, as all Grand Duchesses must be, I let it pass.

And yes, I admit, it was my pm that said to respond to this thread, but I was bored. And I need someone amusing me, of course!

You know what's funny, the whole Hudson Valley had them for me. Is it Romanov Descendents Living in the States Day or something?

Really? The entire Hudson Valley?  It must be a Romanov  Claimants' special holiday, indeed!

I am back home now, eating curds and whey (that is, if curds and whey are oreo cookies and milk).  My Subjects were quite entranced with me (or was it those colored lights in the sky?) and I am exhausted from having to smile so long.

To top it off, the maids did not clean today.  Very annoying - so hard to get good help these days.  Why, there must be 3 feet of dishes stacked in the sink!

Perhaps another mimosa is in order...
