Teddy, try saving a search on sites like Abebooks, they will e-mail you when the book has been found and you can decide whether or not the price is right. I never imagined to find this book again for so little but sometimes you can be surprised!

Bookfinder.com will also search many booksellers at once, including Abebooks. I found mine through that site a few years ago for about $30 (including shipping from the Netherlands!).

I recently got to read this book through interlibrary loan, too bad it's so expensive though. It's a nice book, the most interesting thing about it is seeing Nicholas's hand drawn depictions of jewelry he receieved and then seeing who gave him what. Alexandra gave him a lot of heart jewelry, not surprisingly, and it's interesting to see it. You feel like you know the Romanovs better after reading this book. That's what I liked most about it. It's unfortunate this jewelry has not survived.

I just looked this ook up on Amazon; I can't believe it's selling for $529!!! I was fortunate to buy from Amazon long time ago, when it was on clearance for about $12. For me, the main appeal is the collection of family snapshots.

On this Forum someone offered this book me for $ 250,-. I find it pity that we charge eachother for such prices if we stand for the same interests.

Many of the photos have already been posted here and on Livadia.org. They probably won't be new to you if you've spent a lot of time on either site.

I have just recently been looking up this book and am appalled at the price! 300-400 USD is insane!

Anyone have a good place to get them, or is anyone currently selling their copy for a decent price? Any feedback appreciated. Also, if anyone has some scans of the photos or Nicholas's drawings that would be super.

As someone mentioned above, I'll go search out Abebooks now.

I just searched the book for myself and omg, the prices are so high! I'm just wondering who has 249 USD, as the lowest price, to pay for a book? The book itself would be very nice to have, but I would have to save money for it like million years.
