Louise de Keroualle 'baby face' , called by Nell 'weaping willow' had too a big influence over Charles. This lady and Henriette (step-sister of Louis XIV and beloved sister of Charles) were the main 'ambassadors' for manipulating the king. In fact, Louis obliged La Keroualle to open her bedroom to Charles advertising her that if not she ought to return in france and enter a couvent.

Poor Cathy. Charles shared with her 'sifilis', and so La Keroualle suffered it.When she came in England she was contrariated by the behaviour of her husband(she had a strong personnality after all) but she resigned.
The main political reason of this marriage was the renforcement of alliances between england and Portugal, for the restauration of Braganza House was very recent and was in war with Spain. Commerce had too his importance for Portugal would export oporto wines and england, her manufactures in the portuguese colonies.

Not one, a lot, marvelous. I will post them with pleasure to you soon. this queen is unique, she is sexy! even now. I am a little sad because i don't know why in this topic pics appear quite scared and pixeled.In others it doesn't happens. It is a pitty for in my PC i can see them
big and clear high resolution. I'll try my best  :)
