I am desperately seeking this movie. Is anyone here willing to sell it to me?

*bump*

I am here to ask a favor. It will require trust in me as a person. But I promise I will not fail anyone. I am wondering if I may borrow someone's copy of this film DVD or VHS. It would be so greatly appreciated.
Please PM me if you could.  :'(

I did recieve the dvd. It is probably one of the best films on the Romanovs so far.  I did not mind there being no subtitles, and the acting, sets, quality- quite good. It is whatever region Russia is for dvds. My player is universal so it does not matter. You might check with Russian film websites. I cannot imagine this being held back.

Yes, they have them on some Russian web sites, but I don't speak Russian.  How did you get your dvd copies?

I cheated- a friend in Russia bought it for me.  But, just email the site you find it at- in English. They will be happy to help you.

I agree. Especially as it gives a more authentic picture of the family's captivity. But I would have liked some more scenes with Alexandra after the family's leaving  Tsarskoe Selo  :(.

Is anyone willing to help me get a copy of this? I've tried to get it online but no english sites sell them anymore, and when I try to do it through a Russian site they just don't get back to me. I'll pay full costs to get this movie.
Please PM me...anyone!!

I have been trying to get this film too, but to no avail. I don't know why I didn't think to buy it when I was in Russia this summer, especially since I have an all-region DVD player, but I completely forgot! I just checked some of these sites, and the film is still not available unfortunately  :(. From everyone's reviews here, I really wish I could see it!

Did you guys know that the movie was filmed at the Alexander Palace, and that a lot of the furniture on display at the AP today was the same furniture used in  the movie, which was then given by the film studio to the AP? Most of it looked nothing like the original furniture, but since the AP at the time had very little furniture to display at the exhibit, they accepted it and are still using it.

I read only the exterior shots were made at the Alexander Palace, but that all the interior filming was done in a studio in Prague.

This site seems to have it:
http://shop.dvd.ru/search/index.php3?keywords=romanovy
but I'm having a bugger of a time wading through the Russian to order it. I can get it into my cart, then I'm stumped. Anyone able to help?
