Wow...that cartoon picture was really...weird. I agree, sadly, they want money. Black hair and grey eyes? When you first posted it, I was asking my self "How is this relevant to Anastasia?" until I saw it was her.

I think that she looks more like Tatiana (with the almond-shaped, grey eyes and the dark hair), but even that is a stretch.

I thought Lacy Charbert voiced the younger Anastasia in the cartoon.  Not Kirsten Dunst.  ???

No, it was Kristen Dunst.

You're both techically right.  Kirsten was the spoken voice and Lacey did the singing.

When I watched the "Nicholas and Alexandra," the only "imperial" children who I could place were the characters of Alexei and Anastasia. I hadn't a clue who was Olga, who was Tatiana, and who was Marie. I though Fiona looked just a little like Anastasia-- actually, out of the entire family, only Nicholas and Anastasia looked like their real-life counterparts (and Nicholas way more than Anastasia.)

I'm still waiting for that perfect Romanov movie to come out, with actors who actually resemble the real family and a storyline that honors their lives.
There were rumors of one a few years ago, ("Crown of Blood," with Christopher Walken as Nicholas and that kid from Star Wars as Alexei) but it never came to light. It probably never actually existed, but, man, did I look forward to it.

Indeed, Sasta33!

I also watched Nicholas and Alexandra on DVD finally but I also wondered, which one is who.

Since I care for the fictions about the Romanovs and Anastasia, I might be profoundly interested if there's another film in the future.  It would be great if people in this forum write a screenplay and make a wonderful film on our own...

I've got N+A on DVD. I love it! I've watched at least 50 times. ;D However I could not tell who was Olga at first. At Laura Mabee's site you can see clips from N+A. It's a great movie.

I don't think the girl who played Olga looked like her. But I guess its more important that they can act.

I don't know if I have ever said this before, it's a bit off-topic, since we are talking about a tribute to Nastya, not about N & A, but I always thought that Fiona Fillerton (sp?), the actress who played Anastasiya in "Nicholas and Alexandra", looked like Kirsted Dunst with brown hair.  ;D

If Anastasia was with us here I think she would be terribly excited about all the fuss everyone is making over her. She would have loved it. She would probably try and see all of the movies about her. She deserves it she was great.

Long live the Romanovs!!

yeah anastasia would be so excited to see all these movies based on her and her family, like 'anastasia' the cartoon. and you are 100% right Russian_Duchess! fiona fullerton looks so much like kirsten dunst in 'nicholas and alexandra.'
