Favorite Color?

I was wondering if anyone may know of Maria's favorite color(s), it does not seem to mention it in books, websites, and her letters and diary entries.

I don't know either. However, in a letter to Zinadia Tolstoya, Tatiana talks about some embroidered handbags that might give a hint as to the girls' color preferences:

Tsarskoe Selo, 23 June 1917
Dearest ZS,
I am terribly ashamed that I still have not thanked you for your letter on the 29th of May and the lovely embroidered bags. I took the bluish one with multicolored flowers, Olga-blue with yellow roses, Anastasia- pink, and Maria- all yellow. They are very useful and those always remind us of you.

There's a great possibility those were thrown away by their captors or they were forced to leave those behind in Tsarskoe.

There's a lot of unreliable information out there, both in print and online. Most folks on this forum won't take your information seriously if you can't document it with a specific source.

What does "idk" mean? Is it an abbreviation of something I am not aware of? I'm thinking it stands for "I don't know" because for a moment there I thought I was reading a text message and not a forum posting.
