Living a life in the public glare. Grace Kelly's romances with Clark Gable, Bill Holden & Oleg Cassini all played out in the public with tabloids following her every step of the way. That on top of dealing with her controlling parents made her life far from being a fairy tale. Grace did sympathize with Caroline when she tried to forge a life of her own independent of her family (she did so herself in fleeing to New York). But as a princess, Grace wanted and hoped that they (Caroline & Stephanie) would toe the family line, but it was tough.

Tatiana Santo Domingo, the Colombian fiancee of Princess Caroline's eldest son, Andrea Casiraghi, has apparently confirmed that she's due to have a baby in January.  The couple recently announced their engagement but a wedding date doesn't seem to be set as yet.

The royals these days do not do weddings or marriages they used to. Sad.

I have to agree with you, Eric, even though the Casiraghis are not royal.  Let's hope that Princess Charlene has a child before long.  Can you honestly imagine the likes of Andrea Casiraghi ruling Monaco one day?!!!

People are being so mean on tumblr insinuating the baby isnt Andreas and saying that Tatiana is a golddigger (when we all know her father is a Millionare). For god s sake....

Congratulations  and god bless that baby.

Well, that's not very nice and rather personal but doesn't change the fact that Andrea Casiraghi so far hasn't demonstrated any qualities he would require to one day be Prince of Monaco.

I agree with you both. A legal heir from Albert & Charlene is needed. God help us from Andrea...
