You are probably right, Frederika.  The brother and the sister must be supporting the mother, who can't be seen.

I believe Princess Antoinette, Rainier's elder sister, was present at Prince Albert's accession ceremony in November.

I think she was born in 1921, so would now be in her mid 80's.

That's all I know of her current status.  :)

She was born in 1920, I think, and I believe she married one Baron de Massy, but is now divorced or something?  ???

She has been married 3 times. Her 3rd husband was the British ballet dancer John Gilpin who died a year after their marriage I think she now lives down the coast from Monaco and has a reputation of being rather eccentric.

Anyone know anything about her jewels, especially the ones in the first three pictures?

Her three children were born before her first marriage, to their father, Alexandre Nogues.  After she married him, she was created Baroness de Massy, and her children bear that title as well....

Oh, I love Grace Kelly. There was picture of her (in Life Goes to the Movies), full-length in her aqua Oscar gown, that when I was a little girl, I swore was my Mom. Needless to say, my Mom liked that.

Here are some of her as the most beautiful royal bride ever IMO.

I love the last one especially, Grandduchessella.

Grace's life was indeed a fairly tale.  I've loved her since I was a child as well, seeing her in my grandmother's magazines....

I think Helen Rose's wedding dress suited Grace to perfection. I think it is now in a museum in Phliadelphia.

I only discovered it because Laurra mentioned it on another thread--and Grace is one of my favorites.  :-/ Being a moderator on the French Royals, I'd love to have it over there.

I remember reading in several of the Grace Kelly bios about her demanding parents--especially her father. When Grace won the Oscar, the papers asked her father how he felt and he basically replied he was surprised as he hadn't expected Grace to amount to much--he would've thought Peggy (his favorite) would've been the one. Nice.

All the siblings were pretty competitive with each other and it really colored their relationship. Grace was sort of the odd-man out in the family. Peggy was the eldest and her father's favorite, 'Kell' was the only son, Lizzie was the baby...Grace was the sickly, just sort of there child.
