Rani, do you know who's done these illustrations and released them and if they were done in any official capacity or not?  I'm a bit puzzled by the second one in that there seems to be a huge chandelier hanging in the sky above the palace courtyard!  Did you see that?!

The pics are from the organisators. But didnĀ“t find the name of the drawer.

The chandelier confuses me now.

Grimaldi... an unfortunate name in English parlance
wonder if it has a meaning in its original language ?

Grimaldi is a patronym from the Germanic name Grimoald or Grimwald. The first part, grim can mean either terrible, horrible or mask. (Compare Wilhelm (William): Will + helmet and Grimbert: Mask + bright). The second part, wald, means rule or dominion, the same as in Vladimir and commonwealth. The Grimaldis derive their patronym from 12-century Grimaldo Canella, Consul of Genoa.

Easy to see why the badger was called Grimbert: Bright Mask in the Roman de Renard:

Prince Albert and his fiancee Charlene Wittstock are on a three day State Visit to Ireland, 50 years after his parents Prince Rainier and Princess Grace visited Ireland, both for a State Visit and a private family holiday with Albert, then 3 and Caroline, 4.  It was estimated that up to 30,000 people jammed a Dublin street in 1961 to catch a glimpse of Grace who had strong Irish family connections:

I would like to pay my respect to SAS Princess Antoinette (Tyty) here and share this picture taken of her and her brother SAS Rainier at they First Communion day. I have respect for them because they had to deal with the consequences that their mother had been snub by many because she wasn't from direct Gotha extraction and because she was exuberant.
